PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION INTRODUCTION TO   PHILOSOPHY AND EDUCATION   PHILOSOPHY The term philosophy is derived from two Greek words ‘philein’ meaning love, to strive after, to search for; and ‘sophia’ meaning wisdom.
